Welcome!

This site is a resource for community agencies and individuals wishing to learn more about the Caring Dads program.

Caring Dads is an intervention program designed for men who have abused or neglected their children or exposed them to abuse of their mothers.

Designed to fill a significant gap in services to maximize the safety and well-being of children and their mothers, Caring Dads was developed and piloted over five years. This 17-session group program draws from best practices in the fields of batterer intervention, parenting, behavior change, child maltreatment, and working with resistant clients.

We are committed to being accountable to the safety and well-being of women and children while at the same time working to engage fathers and support them in developing better relationships with their families. For more information, contact us at caringdads@oise.utoronto.ca
